Hack Oregon is a new, community powered non-profit committed to improving local quality of life through data-inspired projects.

We're celebrating the end of our joint workshop with PNCA where students and professionals have been working side by side on a project to visualize the flow of campaign money in Oregon.

Now, we're inviting the community to take it to the next level and build on the data we've organized.   We'll open up access to our API, help match interdisciplinary teams and host mentors to bring great ideas to life.  You will also get a preview of our  "Behind the Curtain" campaign finance visualization project before the official launch in May.

Some people are bringing their own teams and pitches and others are looking to be inspired at the event.

Don't worry if you aren't technical!

This is a highly collaborative event and you don't have to be technical to be a great team member!  (policy wonks encouraged!)

All you need is to be passionate about making the world better through open data <3
